Former Royal Marine and Award Winning Coach, Dean founded PHNX in 2011. After spending some time in corporate gyms, his goal was to create an environment that each one of his clients leaves their Personal Training session feeling strong, positive and energized, but also part of the PHNX family. Dean has a wealth of experience, and his clients have come to expect a fully optimized, fun and dynamic programme tailored specifically to their requirements.
Dean has learnt from some of the best coaches in the country like Strength & Conditioning coach Brendon Chaplin and Body Master John Gibbons.
Dean will help you achieve YOUR fitness goals, whether your focus is sport specific, losing weight, gaining muscle, recovering from Injury, or just wanting to become stronger.
His passion is Obstacle Course Racing, as well as Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai. And Invites anyone to come and join him at a race or just to pop into the studio to train with him!

Freya’s goal is to encourage you to become a stronger more confident version of yourself. Freya qualified in 2015 and since then, has become a qualified boxercise instructor and coached a female boxer who successfully won her two fights.
Her passion for fitness began 5 years ago with partner and owner of PHNX Fitness, Dean Teyla, picking up knowledge every step of the way.
Freya Currently enjoys obstacle course racing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
